Thermal transfer

Thermal transfer

Thermal transfer is a labelling technique where a hot logotype is melted onto a material. A logotype prepared on a special transfer paper is transferred to a labelled surface by a thermal press that creates high temperature - about 150 °C.
Thermal printing advantages:

  • Clear edges - thermal printing allows for highly intensive colours so prints have clear edges
  • Multi-colour printouts - with this method multi-colour prints are possible which is not possible with traditional screen printing and image is of high colour fidelity
  • Precision - due to high quality and clear edges this method enables to create precise and esthetic logotype printing.
